Abstract
The axial channeling of 1-10 GeV electrons in thick single crystals is investigated by means of Monte Carlo computer simulation. The dynamic s of volume capture is discussed in detail. The partial and total life times in the axial channel are calculated for the first time. The stat istics of close nuclei collisions is analysed.
