Abstract
Three novel 3-epi-oleanene type triterpene oligo-glycosyl esters, spin osides D1-D3, were isolated from the leaves of Acanthopanax spinosus. The structures were established to be 28-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1 - -> 4)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl (1 --> 6)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl esters of 3-epi-serratagenic acid, 3alpha-hydroxy-23-oxoolean-12-ene-28,29-dioic acid and 3alpha,23-dihydroxy-olean-12-ene-28,29-dioic acid.
