Abstract
A new anthraquinone glycoside and a new naphthalene glycoside have bee n isolated from the root bark of Rhamnus nakaharai. These compounds ha ve been characterized as chrysophanol 8-O-xylosy-(1 --> 6)-glucoside a nd 2-acetyl-3-methyl-6-methoxynaphthalene-1,8-diol 8-O-xylosyl-(1 --> 6)-glucoside, respectively.
