Abstract
The ionexchange characteristics of the resin Wofatit SBK applying for gold recovery from waste waters of gold-plating processes are investig ated. The equilibrium exchange capacity as a function of the gold conc entration in the water is similar to those of other resins used for th is purpose. The diffusion coefficient of Au(CN)2-/in the granulated ma terial and the dynamic exchange capacity under various conditions are determined, The data obtained allow to recommend Wofatit SBK for gold recovery from acid waste waters and to choose appropriate process cond itions.
