Abstract
We measured the mobility and lifetime of excess electrons in high-puri ty liquid Ar-Xe mixtures as a function of the electric field for sever al Xe concentrations x in Ar at T= 83.7 K by using a pulsed photoemiss ion technique. We found an unexpected dependence of mobility and lifet ime on the concentration of Xe. We discuss cluster formation as a poss ible mechanism explaining our data.
