Abstract
A nonlinear theory of the nonstationary coupled two-component diffusio n between an equiaccessible electrode and a stationary solution caused by a large jump in the overvoltage in a quasi-reversible redox system has been considered. The effect of the ohmic losses for electrode kin etics described by the Butler-Volmer equation has been analyzed.
