Sv. Alekseenko et Dm. Markovich, APPLICATION OF THE ELECTRODIFFUSION METHOD TO MEASUREMENTS IN MULTIDIMENSIONAL FLOWS, Soviet electrochemistry, 29(1), 1993, pp. 18-22
The electrodiffusion method for the diagnostics of flows has been appl
ied to measurements of the velocities of fluids in multidimensional fl
ows, which are realized, in particular, in models of power plants. The
absolute value of the velocity and the level of the turbulent pulsati
ons have been measured by a velocity microsensor of the ''exposed-tip'
' type, and the velocity vector has been determined by a wedge-shaped
double sensor. A solution of potassium ferrocyanide and potassium ferr
icyanide with an addition of Na2CO3 as a supporting electrolyte has be
en employed.
