The admittance of a model of the quasi-equilibrium adsorption of an in
ert surfactant taking place in parallel with an electrochemical reacti
on has been derived. The equivalent circuit of this model contains an
element having the properties of a distributed inductance and a distri
buted conductivity. It has been shown that the equivalent circuits of
two other models, whose calculated admittances result in the appearanc
e of induction loops, have the form of ladder networks with alternatin
g conductivities and capacitances and do not contain inductive element
s in the general case.
