Abstract
A new method has been developed for evaluating surface roughness and w aviness and for correcting the sensitivity of the ultrasonic testing o ver a wide range. Surface roughness analyses are presented for compone nts which must undergo ultrasonic testing and for standard samples use d at manufacturing facilities. Recommendations are given.
