Abstract
Equations are obtained for the constituents of strength of the magneti c field of a rectangular-groove-type surface defect in magnetization o f a ferromagnetic material with a nonuniform field of magnets. The rel ationship of the distribution of strength of the field to the displace ment of the defect relative to the center of the magnetizing system is investigated.
