The magnetic susceptibility and magnetic resonance measurements of an
amorphous compound Bi2CuO4 have been carried out. It was pointed out,
that a part of Cu2+ ions stays in the paramagnetic state down to T=4,2
K. The magnitude of the effective exchange integral in amorphous Bi2C
uO4 has been estimated. The magnetic resonance measurements revealed t
he existance of the magnetic phase transition to spin-glass state at T
=100 K.
