Abstract
An upwelling system for the incubation of salmonid eggs is described a nd evaluated. Constructed of materials available at a local plumbing s tore, the system allows independent incubation of up to 32 groups of e ggs, each group receiving its own water supply. Incubation of not more than 1,000 eggs per group is recommended if low or highly variable su rvival is expected; other-wise, 1,500 eggs can be incubated.
