Jm. Sirota et al., INTENSITIES AND BROADENING COEFFICIENTS FOR THE Q-BRANCH OF THE 4-NU(2)[--]NU(1)-1) BAND OF CO2(NU(2) (471.511CM), Journal of quantitative spectroscopy & radiative transfer, 50(2), 1993, pp. 193-198
Absolute intensities for the Q -branch of the 4nu2 <-- --> nu1 + nu2(1
) (20003-11101) band in CO, have been measured for the first time. Mea
surements were performed for lines Q10 to Q28, at temperatures ranging
from 385 to 426 K, for pressures from 3 to 40 torr, using our long wa
velength tunable diode laser spectrometer. The combination of tunable
diode lasers, a White cell, and a blocked impurity band detector enabl
ed us to obtain signal to noise ratios > 1000 in the 471 cm-1 spectral
region, with approximately 3 x 10(-4) cm-1 Spectral resolution. The b
and strength was found to be 8.6(2) x 10(-25) cm molec-1 @296 K, and t
he Hermann-Wallis factor was determined. Comparison with the values li
sted in the HITRAN 92 database are presented. Self-, N2- and O2-broade
ning coefficients were also measured.
