Abstract
Four patients with lichen nitidus who presented with palmoplantar or n ail lesions are reported. In three cases palmoplantar hyperkeratosis w as marked; these cases also had nail-plate lesions, but in all four, l esions of lichen nitidus at other sites were absent, sparse or asympto matic.
