Abstract
A rare case of carcinoma of the breast in a 6-year-old Japanese girl i s reported together with a review of the Japanese literature of this d isease in childhood, totalling 17 patients, which confirms the good pr ognosis in the majority of cases. It is proposed that surgery, at leas t initially, should be conservative.
