Abstract
The reaction of metal(II) hexafluoroacetylacetonates (meta]=Mn(II), Fe (II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II)) with tetramethylpyrazine is repo rted. The X-ray crystal structures of [Mn(hfac)2]2(tmp)3.4H2O and Co(h fac)2(tmp).4H2O are reported and reveal the formation of chain polymer s through second sphere cis- and trans-derived stacking, respectively.
