Abstract
MgBO7:Dy is usually reported as having one dosimetric peak. Two sets o
f experimental studies followed by computer analysis of more than 200
glow curves indicate that a combination of at least 11 peaks of first
order kinetics is necessary to describe the glow behaviour of MgB4O7:D
y. For a heating rate of 1-degrees-C.s-1 the maximum intensity of the
individual peaks are situated at the following temperatures: 101, 110,
126, 142, 155, 160. 173, 192, 224, 231 and 304-degrees-C.
