Abstract
The effectiveness of Arthrobotrys irregularis against Meloidogyne aren aria on tomato plants was tested in experiments carried out in a growt h chamber. The application of the fungus in the soil reduced root gall ing at both rates tested (1 % and 10 %) and forms of inoculum. Galling was reduced at all population densities and the plant weight was infl uenced by the presence of the fungus in the soil.
