Abstract
For the first time 5,6-hexahydrothieno[2,3-b]thiocine[4,5-c]isoxazole and o-3,4,6-hexahydro-5-methylenethieno[2,3-b]thiocine have been prepa red by NaOCl oxidation of 2-omega-alkenylthio-3-thiophenecarbal-doxime s. The structure of these products has been confirmed by mass, H-1 NMR and C-13 NMR spectroscopy, and of the second, also by X-ray analysis.
