Abstract
The so-called Tolosa-Hunt syndrome consists of painful ophthalmoplegia caused by chronic nonspecific inflammation of the cavernous sinus and /or superior orbital fissure, responsive to steroid therapy. We presen t a case with the unusual feature of sellar erosion, in which angiogra phy. CT and MRI suggested this idiopathic condition.
