Abstract
Reported surveys of ocular bacterial and fungal flora in cats are rare . It is necessary to anticipate normal ocular flora before evaluating cultures from eyes with external ocular disease. Bacterial and fungal cultures are useful in the differential diagnosis of infectious feline ocular disease. The purpose of this study was to evaluate normal bact erial and fungal flora from eyelids and conjunctivae of 50 normal cats .
