Abstract
A form of laminar flame theory distinct from the existing one is formu lated. An approximate method is proposed for deriving analytic solutio ns in laminar flame theory. A case with zero-order reactions is consid ered. The first equation for the temperature boundary layer is derived . A relationship is established between the flame propagation limits a nd stationary thermal explosion in an infinite cylinder of radius 2.
