Abstract
In patients with sinus node dysfunction and normal atrioventricular co nduction, single chamber atrial pacing (AAI or AAIR mode) represents t he most physiological treatment. Sinus node dysfunction is recognised in association with an absent right superior vena cava, and we present a case in which complete resolution of symptoms was achieved with end ocardial atrial permanent pacing.
