Abstract
A description and miaographs illustrating Eutypa bathurstensis sp. nov ., collected on intertidal Avidcennia sp. at Bathurst Heads in north e ast Queensland, are presented. The taxon is unusual amongst the Diatry paceae, as a wide hyaline layer is present on the inner side of the as comatal wall.
