Foul-smelling, bloody vaginal discharge and pelvic pain may indicate t
he presence of an unknown intravaginal foreign body. A case of an adul
t who underwent numerous examinations and a previous laparotomy withou
t location of the foreign body is presented. Radiologic diagnosis and
surgical removal of the object is described.
