Abstract
Vapor-liquid equilibria for a binary system of carbon dioxide and 1-me thylnaphthalene axe measured in the range of 50 to 250-degrees-C and 4 0 to 160 bar, in a flow apparatus. The experimental data are correlate d with three equations of state, the Statistical Associating Fluid The ory (SAFT), the Perturbed Hard Chain (PHC), and the Soave (Soave). The calculated mutual solubilities and distribution coefficients (K-facto rs) are found to be in reasonable agreement with the experimental data .
