Abstract
The paper describes an algorithm for constructing the desired solution of two problems relating to the remote sensing of the optical charact eristics of the atmosphere and the ground surface in the visible and I R areas of the spectrum and considers the agreement between experiment al models and measurements. Possible implementations of the algorithm are discussed based on the example of the processing of spectrometric information acquired using the 'MKS M' apparatus on Salyut 7.
