Abstract
The statistical characteristics of the aerosol optical depth in severa l areas of the visible band are analysed as a function of the meteorol ogical conditions. The correlation between the statistical characteris tics of the spectral structure of optical radiation and meteorological parameters may be used to identify the physical reasons for the estab lishment of various states of atmospheric turbidity.
