Abstract
A simple method has been developed for measuring the leakage from sing le seeds of any size. In this method the optical density of seed leach ate was measured at 260 nm with a spectrophotometer and data compared with an electrical conductivity test. This method is very sensitive an d simple to use with a large number of samples.
