Abstract
The hydrolysis of four organophosphorus dichlorophenyl esters and of p araoxon was studied in hen brain homogenates and in rabbit serum. All compounds were hydrolysed by both preparations, but the rates were dif ferent in the two preparations. EDTA inhibited the hydrolysis- almost completely in rabbit serum, but had only a small effect on the hydroly sis in hen brain homogenates.
