Abstract
Continuum resonance Raman spectra of I-127(2) were numerically simulat ed using time-dependent quantum theory. The calculated spectra were co mpared with results obtained from traditional time-independent calcula tions, based on the Kramers-Heisenberg-Dirac relationship, and experim ental data obtained earlier by Strempel and Kiefer. A symmetry princip le for corresponding Stokes and anti-Stokes Raman spectra is also demo nstrated and the corresponding spectra for this principle were simulat ed applying both time-dependent and time-independent theory. Further a spects such as the reflection principle and scattering delay times are discussed and compared with results obtained for Br-79(2).
