Sm. Barnett et al., NEAR-INFRARED FOURIER-TRANSFORM RAMAN MICROSPECTROSCOPY AT HIGH EXTERNAL PRESSURES, Journal of Raman spectroscopy, 24(7), 1993, pp. 471-473
Near-IR Fourier transform (FT) Raman spectroscopic measurements were p
erformed at high pressures for the first time by mounting a diamond-an
vil cell on the optical stage of an FT-Raman microprobe equipped with
a long-range 4 x objective and by using a near-IR (Nd:YAG, 1064.1 nm)
laser to excite the sample. The utility of this new pressure-tuning Ra
man microspectroscopic method was demonstrated by its successful appli
cation to a typical organometallic complex, Cr(CO)4(bipy)(bipy = 2.2'-
bipyridyl), which decomposes under conventional visible Raman spectros
copic conditions.
