Abstract
Polypyrrole films in the oxidized state are positively charged, so the anions of sulphuric acid and p-toluensulphonic acid with a certain el ectrochemical activity were selected as dopants for the polypyrrole fi lm. When the anions were electrochemically incorporated in commercial polypyrrole films at constant temperature (20-degrees-C) and constant voltage (3.0 V), the conductivities increased from 67 to 165 and 94 S cm-1, respectively. Dynamic regression simulation of the electrochemis try of the doping process was performed. A new parameter, r, was intro duced, and the dynamic equation dS(A)/dC(t) = f(S(A)) for the electroc hemical doping of the polypyrrole films with sulphuric acid and p-tolu ensulphonic acid was obtained.
