Abstract
The chemical composition of seedless, ripe fruits of Rosa rubiginosa L . (<<rosa mosqueta>>) harvested in Chubut (Argentina) was studied. Spe cially interesting was the high content of ascorbic acid (1,05%). Vita min C loss after drying the hips to prepare tea, is about 95%.
