Abstract
We describe a child with Wilms' tumor whose only finding at presentati on was polycythemia. A review of the mechanism of erythropoiesis regul ation as well as the differential diagnosis, work-up, and management o f polycythemia in children is presented. Our report emphasizes the nee d for a thorough evaluation of children who present with polycythemia.
