Abstract
Munchausen's syndrome and Munchausen's sydrome by proxy (MSBP) can cau se many conditions, including bleeding problems, seizures, failure to thrive and others.1-10 We report here an unusual case in which a mothe r presented to the hospital for her hemophiliac son's failure to thriv e, subsequently for her own self-inflected mutilating wounds, and fina lly for self-induced simulation of her son's hemophiliac bleeding and arthritic complications.
