Abstract
We present a very efficient algorithm which calculates deterministical ly the path losses, delay profiles and other characteristics of a mobi le channel, The algorithm can be used both for indoor and outdoor envi ronments. We apply the technique of tracing rays and compute reflectio ns, transmissions and diffractions with the help of geometrical optics , heuristical approximations and the uniform theory of diffraction (UT D).
