A TREATMENT OF THE MAGNETIC RELUCTIVITY TENSOR FOR ROTATING MAGNETIC-FIELD

In this paper, a treatment of the magnetic reluctivity tensor in the f ormulation of the finite element analysis is proposed. Utilizing linea r transformations, the elements of the magnetic reluctivity tensor und er rotating magnetic field are approximately stabilized in the inclina tion angle to the rolling direction and the aids ratio for any locus o f the magnetic flux density vector, It is shown that the expression wi th the linear transformations is applicable to the analysis and the ne cessary data can be considerably reduced in comparison with the conven tional expression.
