Abstract
VMSW (Variable Magnetization and Stoner Wohlfarth Model) method is eff ective for numerical analysis of anisotropic permanent magnets. This m ethod, however, has a serious restriction of the was of dividing eleme nts. Therefore, the conventional VMSW method can not he applied to the analysis of the materials which are complicated shape. In this paper, an improved VMSW method is presented The problem of dividing elements can be solved by using this method.
