Abstract
The reverse pulse voltammetry version of cathodic stripping analysis i s introduced and its utility for the determination of purine bases and DNA is demonstrated, 5x10(-8)-1x10(-5) mol l-1 is the concentration r ange determined. High reproducibility of the results and simplicity of operation and automatization are due to the use of the static mercury drop electrode in the dropping mode and to the features of the revers e pulse technique.
