Abstract
Superconducting generator (SC generator) has a multi-damper circuit wh ich protects the quench of superconducting wires from power system dis turbance caused by lightning of transmission lines. In this paper, a n ew equivalent circuit is developed and the constants of a SC generator are calculated by 3-D electromagnetic field analysis.
