Abstract
Leptogenys sp. 13 (near kraepelini) exclusively hunts on earwigs (Gono labis electa and Paralabis sp.). This unusual kind of prey specializat ion is shown by field data, prey midden investigations, and prey selec tion experiments. The adaptive value of the species' prey specializati on is discussed.
