In this paper, the factors influencing the migration reproducibility o
f dipeptides in HPCZE were discussed. Two migration parameters-migrati
on time and relative migration time were investigated as the functions
of operation current and column temperature. The relative migration t
ime was proposed to be an index for peak identification in HPCZE. The
effects of applied current and column temperature on migra tion time h
ave been discussed. The linear correlation between lg t(m) and T-1 has
been derived and has been explained based on the fundamental migratio
n equation in HPCZE. The criteria of relative migration time which are
independent of applied current and column temperature shows the chara
cteristic constant for a specific column in HPCZE.
