Abstract
The spontaneous regression of metastases in renal cell carcinoma is us ually associated with the clear cell carcinoma histologic type. We rep ort a case of spontaneous regression in a man with lung metastases fro m a sarcomatoid renal cell carcinoma variant. At present, 1 year after regression was first evident, the patient remains in remission.
