THE COMING OF AGE OF DNA CRYSTALLOGRAPHY

During the past year, X-ray crystallographic studies of DNA have begun to focus not only on the relationship between base sequence and the f ine structure of DNA, but more on unusual structures such as quadraple xes and bulges. In the study of drug-DNA complexes, more attention is being directed toward rational drug design.
