Abstract
This study analyzes the content of 82 dial-a-porn recordings. No viole nt themes such as rape or bondage were found. Violent acts were typica lly suggested by the female, and in recordings characterized by domina nce, the female was the dominant party. Due to a variety of public pol icy initiatives, it appears that dial-a-porn, at least in recorded for m, has moved from 900 numbers to 800 and long-distance numbers.
