Abstract
An immunoaffinity chromatographic (IC) method for the determination of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) and atrazine was developed. Th e sensitivity was 1 and 0.1 mug l-1 for 2,4-D and atrazine, respective ly, the relative standard deviation was in the range 3-8% and the tota l assay time per sample was 10 min. IC was combined with three detecti on systems: spectrophotometric, chemiluminescence and fluorescence. Th e whole procedure can be fully automated and applied to the quasi-cont inuous control of pesticide contamination and a rapid assay under out- of-laboratory conditions.
