K. Bouzek et I. Rousar, THE STUDY OF ELECTROCHEMICAL PREPARATION OF FERRATE(VI) USING ALTERNATING-CURRENT SUPERIMPOSED ON THE DIRECT-CURRENT - FREQUENCY-DEPENDENCEOF CURRENT YIELDS, Electrochimica acta, 38(13), 1993, pp. 1717-1720
The dependence of the current yield of the electrochemical production
of ferrate(VI) by anodic oxidation of iron was measured as a function
of the frequency of alternating current, superimposed on the direct cu
rrent; the ratio of the ac amplitude to the dc current was 2.6:1 and t
he electrolyte was NaOH solution of a concentration of 560 g dm-3 at 2
0 and 30-degrees-C. The highest current yield was found at an ac frequ
ency of 5 Hz.
