Abstract
The authors describe the radiologic appearance of fluid silicone in th e soft tissues of the gluteal area in a transsexual man. Thickening an d striation of the soft tissues was observed in the trochanteric area in plain films. Serpiginous hyperattenuated bands infiltrating the sub cutaneous fat were seen with computed tomography. The patient was asym ptomatic in the gluteal area.
