Ts. Nikitina et al., ORGANOSULFUR COMPOUNDS AND HYDROCARBONS OF HIGH-BOILING DISTILLATES OF CERTAIN CRUDE OILS, Petroleum chemistry, 33(2), 1993, pp. 164-169
Data on the composition of organosulphur compounds and hydrocarbons of
the 450-540-degrees-C distillates and >540-degrees-C residues of Oren
burg, industrial West Siberian and Usa crude oils have been compiled a
nd generalized, and their quantitative content has been assessed. It h
as been established that the main sulphur-containing components of the
se distillates are benzothiophenes and thiacycloalkanes for sulphide-t
ype oil (West Siberian), thiacycloalkanes and polycyclic thiophene com
pounds for thiophenic oil (Usa) and benzothiophenes and polycyclic thi
ophenes for mercaptan-type oil (Orenburg). In hydrocarbon composition,
the 450-540-degrees-C distillates of West Siberian and Usa crude oils
are naphthenic-aromatic, while those of Orenburg crude oil are paraff
inic-aromatic.
